The workshops

The workshops typically take between 6 & 10 people for three to six days of instruction under the guidance of professional tutors. The cost covers all food, tuition, refreshments and overnight accommodation.The courses cost £275 for weekend and £475 for the  ‘week’. Everything is provided by way of meals and refreshments, so no need to spend another penny on anything once you are here. Vegan and vegetarian diets are catered for.

Tuition

There are on average 6 hours of workshops daily with individual one to one tuition on the week course. Dinner is followed each evening by an informal session led by the course tutor. These help reinforce the techniques learned during the day, hear and learn new tunes and teach others some of your own favorites. Guest musicians often join us during these sessions.

Your tutor is available to you from breakfast until bed-time.for questions and advice.

Where We Are

Workshops are run from “The Archway” in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
The Archway offers friendly accommodation in comfortable and relaxing surroundings, 5-minutes walk from Grantham’s town centre. The Archway is a Grade II listed building dating from the 17th Century and retains many original features. The Archway offers en – suite bedrooms, and has been upgraded with Music in mind.The walled Garden when restored will offer a haven in the heart of the town just a stone’s throw from the famous St. Wulfram’s Church

Transport to Grantham is well served by being next to the A1, the A52 towards Nottingham and the A607 towards Lincoln.
Trains stop at Grantham on the London to Edinburgh, Nottingham to Skegness and Liverpool to Norwich Lines. Trains also run to Hull.
Grantham is also within easy reach of the East Midlands Airport.
Express Coach Travel to Grantham from a wide variety of towns all over England is also available.
