Directions by Car:

Coming into Grantham from the A1 south head for the town centre, turn right immediately after the Town Hall (large statue of Isaac Newton outside it) then take the first left into Swinegate (about 25 yards, looks like a back lane). Follow the road for several hundred yards, pass the Blue Pig pub on your left and then St Wulfram’s Church on your right. .

Travelling from the north turn off the A1 at the sign for Grantham, Great Gonerby and Downtown. Follow the road through Great Gonerby and on reaching Grantham go under the railway bridge, pass the Kings Hotel on your left and at the first set of lights stay in the left lane then on turning left move immediately into the right hand lane. Turn right at the lights then take the left turn (about 20 yards) towards the town centre past the public car park on your left and a blue painted building called the Playhouse on the right.

Directions by train from the station:

On leaving the station turn left and at the bottom of the road (lots of traffic lights) turn right into Wharf Road. At the end of Wharf Road, cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn left into St Peter’s Hill, continue along this road (past the Town Hall on your right with a large statue of Isaac Newton outside) and after approximately 300 yards come to the Angel and Royal Hotel on your right. Cross onto the right side of the street and follow the road round past the hotel into Vine Street. On reaching the Blue Pig pub at the end of Vine Street turn left into Swinegate.

The Archway is on the left at the bottom of Swinegate (No.15), (Large White gates, White door and the only house in the street with railings and a hedge outside).
